Vlada Predelina (1991) is an artist currently based in Rotterdam, NL, and Barcelona, ES. Her work explores the meaning of a sense of place through a range of media, including food, natural dyes, bioplastics, and ceramics. She creates gatherings centred around a specific material as a way to bring out intimate discussions and situated histories. Through gestures of cooking, growing, and gathering around food and the kitchen table, she investigates tacit forms of knowledge and memory that emerge in relation to land.

Thinking about being together with the man-made island through eating, observing, feeling and listening in order to find ways to amplify its voice with the long term aim to give it its legal rights as a nature park.
